To keep the SXX EGM away from prying eyes, I am surprised they did not choose the Nullabor Plain. Some good truck stops going across and it is not that well serviced by jetports.

The Big question, the ONLY question, is what can be salvaged from SXX assets. Various shareholdings can be valued (kind of) but then they cannot be dumped into the market, so how easily realisable.

Fiji.... ? I have absolutely no idea. None. By the time the cross-interests are unravelled, if it can be done, and all costs are paid... fees etc. what is left?? What is the TRUTH.

But one thing is for sure it has to be disposed of.

Much the same for the uranium interests. Show me a best offer in writing. THEN (and only then) I will tell you what it is worth in cash for SXX. Until then ... nobody knows... which means exactly that.

That is not to say it is not a discussion topic in terms of best and worst case range of values.... of course. :)

SXX is a turnaround stock. Its future is determined by how clever the new Board can be. An investment in SXX is an investment in the People there mainly. Reputations and careers can be built by picking up little businesses like SXX and taking them from 1c to $1.

It means making lots of Right decisions.

Because it is people-dependent, I have previously tried to examine the success or otherwise of the directorships or careers of Burrell and Keach to date. ... to the extent that past performance is a guide to the future. That is not necessarily always the case admittedly.

SXX is a TURNAROUND situation. It is at or close to rock-bottom now... courtesy of the past Board. It is going absolutely nowhere and keeps flogging shares and assets to survive. It has no real trading income, and no prospect of it. And no future.

Instead of a participant, I am an Observer now. I can only hope the new Board will keep shareholders constantly up to date. That they will not be left in a vacuum, be left hanging.

Every chance I will re-enter this stock if I think some good decisions are being made, and information flow is regular, accurate and objective.

SXX could be a quiet achiever... a big success story.

Well, why not? ...... people who want to tell me a hundred reasons why it cannot be so I would sack. The guy that tells me HOW it can be done, I would put on the SXX Board!
