Fisher Funds have an excellent track record in NZ - they are a stock picking fund manager that only invests after meeting management and board and liking the growth prospects. Their funds typically only hold a dozen or so stocks and dont sell them downm for "diversifcation" reasons when they go through the roof - a case in point is AOE - bought at 66c now about 2.80 - and 20-24% of Barramundi (their NZ listed Oz investment fund) holdings.

Fisher have a fairly large following in NZ - where they have a two prong problem:
1 The NZ govt has just started a quasi compulsory super scheme - and fisher is one (of many) funds with an offerring (Oz and NZ small caps)
2 the NZ market is too small for them to find enough growth stocks that they can get into for a decent price

This in my view forces them to put a large weighting on OZ stocks - and stocks like AVE and PWK will be the beneficiaries as they seek to enter into small cap stocks with strong growth prospects that are below the Oz markets radar.

And if you dont buy the FF demand side story then perhaps look at the geographical spread of AVE and BBC's villages - a fit made in heaven - I agree with the previous poster who wroe that this stock wont be around in a few years.
