just continuing my observations on Jack which has been a dog of a stock for me....

last week saw some unusual activity on both volume and price.

Nearly 2 million shares were sold between Tuesday and Friday. A large parcel of nearly one mill went thru on Tue. This set the seen for a rise in sp and another 700,000 trade on Thursday.

We have not seen this interest for many many months.

In the background we also had directors topping up during Nov/Dec at 13c. In anticipation or value picking?

It is my view that the company has overcome its lack of capital and high energy costs problems that appeared mid year. This may mean ( i hope)that we have seen the bottom and will find a steady increase in sp during 2008. It now needs Randall to do a roadshow and advise the market what is really happening with client numbers and anticipated profits.

In the meantime we still have B & B and Hunter Hall on the register. HH is there simply to cash in when the takeover happens. B & B are waiting for the right time before moving. Offering 20-25c will entice most shareholders and most likely directors to sell out.History shows that directors converted options at 20c and purchased heaps of stock at the lower end of the chart. I cannot see B & B just waiting for the price to recover to plus 30c range. While it is cheap now is the time to move.

    Any views?
