The liquidator as I understand does not have sell Hawsons at this time.

I assume that ASI are pushing the liquidator to sell now so that they can buy it at a depressed price.

However if the liquidator decided that they will not sell now but hold onto Hawsons until the market gets better what is ASI strategy or how can ASI help CAP in this situation.

What is increasing clear is that ASI does not have the funds to make a full takeover bid for CAP and in your post you are suggesting that ASI may need to sell off part of the BMG 40% stake to somebody else.

In the court records it says that BMG is able to sell up to 50% of its Hawsons stake to a third party without CAP approval.

If ASI buys BMG's 40% stake they could sell 20% to some other unknown party without CAP approval.

There are so many unknowns in the CAP - BMG deal that all these matters makes it very difficult for minor shareholder to invest with confidence in CAP.

The only solution for current shareholder is to support the current management and hope they get lucky.
