Anyone know where the in-plant trials are occuring/to occur for the titano magnetite? I have looked through the announcements but cannot find any names or places. If successful it will be a reliable steady income as all the major coal players like BHP, Anglo and Xstrata are looking for a local source to supply the Bowen Basin mines. The coal mines will be keen to lock in some sort of long term deal you would think, given the minimal transport costs from Monto. Magnetite is a key consumable in the coal washing process and no other alternative exists.
I guess I don't really understand or appreciate the value of the other products but what I like is the fact that they are looking for specialised markets which will hopefully realise top dollar for their product.
I hold lots and am waiting patiently. Will buy some more at its current low.
