I wrote in another thread that an investor has to be cautious with the Mississippi Lime, because the results from other operators in the same area show that it is a very spotty play and has a lot of water. Please do not misunderstand me. I will justify immediately why I posted these concerns.
For instance, Torchlight Energy Resources (TRCH) and Ring Energy (REI) drill the Mississippi Lime at South Kansas without good results.
Evolution Petroleum (EPM) had also several disappointing results from that play in Northern Oklahoma, and was unable to shut off water production from its two Mississippian wells, as shown below:
