Read again, they did not quote results from the XRF, just that it supported the geologists "visual" call on the rest of the hole.
I actually see this a a fairly conservative approach.
As for the top half of the hole, the results released were actually from lab assay...and the grades are good for a porphyry and marginally higher grade than the RC discovery hole, which lends weight to the Porphyry model, which we would expect to increase at depth. Further, I concur with their geos the core, with at least 4 separate breccia events (clasts from 4 different rock types/events), is somewhat "unusual".
I wonder if they have tested for other elements...Au?
