i have heard that magnesium is hard to get through supplements party due to getting the right type of magnesium and because magnesium supplements often cause stomach upsets in large enough quantities, bit not that the uptake of calcium is restricted...
Because of that I tend to focus more on magnesium rich foods such as various nuts (almonds) rather than supplements but would be interested in your current regime since magnesium does appear to be a greatly overlooked necessity.
