I'm with you. I'm sure there are some issues and probably some things we'd like to know more about. I don't doubt that there may have been some questionable things done, but show me a company where there isn't. Temasek and Lazard have been buying and MS have not come and stated they are not interested so we can assume there are ongoing negotiations. In the current economic climate why would they show interest if they did not think it was a viable industry. If Board members were aware of questionable accounting practices why were they been buying (possible via margin loan facilities)last year. You know as a Board member that it is not easy to offload stock as it can cause a drop in the SP so I'm assuming they had a positive attitude towards the company. They may have got it wrong like it appears many in the market have. I may be wrong myself but I'd rather accept that shortselling had something to do with this and look at who's investing (also realising that maybe it was overvalued like many stocks) and not listen to journalists who are unaccountable.
