I am not overly concerned about the chance of US imports for a couple of reasons.
The first is the National Party will fight to their last breath to stop it or they will loose many seats over it. (They just lost a safe seat in Orange for assuming the can not loose a safe seat, (N.S.W. state))
The second is that the imported product from the US will have lost half of its shelf life or more by the time it gets to the consumer in Asia or Australia.
