The announcement did not go into specific issues for the request for extension, such as accounting for goodwill, and accounting for investment in cowan etc. Where did you get the info from?
What makes you conclude that the merger costs did not include the advisory fees for the accounting issues. The company just requested for more time. No mention of additional costs etc.
