Patriotic buying doesn't work. You can buy up 500,000 shares at 20.5 and all the capper has to do is offer 300 more shares at 20c and the effort is wasted and your ammo is spent.
If you want to bid to support the price, place your bid behind the highest existing offer and help form a wall. Even then, the strategy is questionable.
