    Shell to make household batteries in Australia

    Global energy giant Shell will start making household batteries at the former Holden plant in Adelaide after it bought German battery maker Sonnen.

    Shell bought the German firm, for an undisclosed amount, to grow its New Energies business, which is focused on low-carbon energy generation.
