i have not yet seen the lodge partners report.
do you have a link you could possibly share?
the 100mill was the rumoured number the management of ETC is reportedly comfortable with for FY2010. a rumour about a rumour :-) i believe it was from lodge partners.
but looking at the china contract numbers and that current NPAT for FY09 is driven almost exclusively by the malaysian government agreements and the mobile business, add the vietnamese potential and its easy to see why they are confident with that number. there is also supposed to be some contracts in the UAE (v.close according to presentation) and bids in the UK.
most new techs have issues with customer acceptance and proof of concept. nexcode seems to be over that, in no small part due to the malaysian government using it for numerous applications.
like you said, this company was growing revenue and NPAT at an impressive rate before the malaysian contract and the china deal seems to be completely ignored by the market at the moment.
i can understand the scepticism in this market, but it will turn they hit their NPAT guidance. going by recent performance, they like to keep a little in reserve to surprise the market with a little upside to profits.
young, houston and dykes each bought $100K earlier this month too.
it all looks good with few of the risks associated with high growth specs.
