I'm not saying it is MD, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to supplement with saffron. I've been doing it for a couple of years now and my night vision and ability to handle glare have improved no end. I never wear sunglasses now as I don't need to. I buy my saffron from a Persian supermarket. 5gms cost $28.00 and last about 4 months.
