Don't forget that MIS investors have registered leases over most of the land assets. These have up to 10 years to run.

These properties can only be sold subject to these leases.

Properly managed, this could put the MIS investors in a strong position.

Those further down the chain could be waiting many years to see any return.

These best possible use for the forest land would be to raze the trees and return the land to something more productive (dairy/grazing/etc).
