I understand the risk I've taken by investing in TIM. However, I see the difference between ABC learning centre and agricultural businesses. ABC could be easily divided, sold and adopted by the other hands. As to the agribusiness - if TIM collapsed, their peers such as GTP and/or FCL would follow it. In the current financial crisis, there is a difficulty to find appropriate buyers. Those who have the knowledge about agriculture have no cash for buying expensive assets. While most of the governments around the world are keen to support their domestic agriculture (even introduced tariffs for foreign agri products), we might be reliant on imported food products (from China? – cheaper?). Is it a good solution?
When you look at Maslow's hierarchy- food belongs to the basic human needs. Independence in food supply, health care, communication, defence and the creation of good economic growth’ climate are the most important priorities )my opinion)
