I share the sentiments about that certain investment newsletter. They had a nice philosophy, but there was a total disconnect between their philosophy and real life - they failed to deliver in almost all their recommendations. The biggest losers in my portfolio have been their BUY recommendations. I've learned too, and I'm pleased to see my portfolio turning round since I binned my subscription renewal notice (not that I've sold their favoured stocks - they've just dwindled in value to the point that they are a much smaller percentage of my portfolio than when originally purchased).

Does anyone know whther that newsletter has gone under yet, due to deserting subscribers?
