Hey Tas,
That quiet achiever label could probably also apply to Zinc itself. I know it has been getting a bit of press lately but that seems to be overwhelmed by Gold and Copper.
Just looking at some of the percentage gains over the last 6 months on the Zinc price: from the base of 6 months, 2 months and 1 month ago the price has climbed 75%, 30% and 18% respectively to the present price - pretty dam impressive.
I have a nice holding in HER so the last few trading days have been very enjoyable after its months in hibernation. Should be able to afford a couple more decent WA rieslings for this warmer weather.
I have also been adding a few more Zinc stocks to my portfolio.
