My brother in law is a garbo and yes I have been active in trying to close the loop on recycling. Reuse all this metal, plastic and other stuff rather than burying it is needed urgently. Countries that are successful are imposing a tax on virgin material and recycle rates improve massively. So far it is all about the $$ and rates but the Feds and States need to step in and close the loop
