"During 2018, electricity generated from variable renewable energy (wind, small scale solar, and large scale solar) accounted for 12.6 per cent of total electricity generation in the NEM.

This is approximately a 30 per cent increase on 2017, when variable renewables represented 9.8 per cent of generation. Fossil fuels, and in particular coal, still dominate generation in the NEM, accounting for almost 80 per cent of all generation."

Granted CPV's share price has been smacked around from its lofty height of .83c, which was a ridiculous run I feel, but with a Federal Election looming, which is very much focused on Climate Change, the incentive to move to an alternative source of power away from Fossil Fuels is a Policy & direction which is being demanded by business & the people.

Australia though is but a very small fish in a very large pond. CPV must find international contracts to cement their technology.

Until we do the price will stay at current levels, of which we can accumulate, as I have.

The share price certainly appears to have consolidated in the mid to high 20's without any announcements at all. A small sniff of a contract will push it 10c comfortably.
