what FS8M is saying, like myself, is that what you did is extremely risky. Congrats on the free carry, however the ASX is literally littered with horror stories of individuals going all in $500k etc on said stocks and losing the lot. While my portfolio is significant, I still wouldn’t put $100ks into something like CVN. You’ll find those like me on here are blue chip investors, some with significant blue chip holdings. 

Rather collect dividends and sleep at night they try to suddenly double or triple of wealth in a year. Don’t need that sort of risk. No quick way to wealth, just compound invest IMO. Some of the ANZ we own from the 1990s literally pay us 50%pa on initial investment, same with CBA IPO. These were not specs, just long term blue chip investments. That being said I don’t ever see WPL paying $18pa in dividends to investors who buy now. Regardless I expect to see continued dilution with CVN.
