This might surprise you mate but wait for it..... they run a.... tech company.... not a dry cleaning business. There is a level of networking within the industry they have to promote to grow, and if they are still an early started trying to build exposure then they have to hold (and surprise surprise, fund events themselves). I think if you don’t understand the industry then you’re not fit to be making judgements on their business operations
