I don’t know Shirls. I wasn’t inside when I got the information I have just shared,
I needed air and went back into the foyer and then, when Geoff came out as well, decided to ask him a question about proxy voting to do with a different company. He introduced me to one of his fund managers who knows that company very well and we had a good talk until it was getting to time for him to go back inside to speak on the podium. At the lunch at the end I went over to thank him and realised I hadn’t asked about Gage Roads ...which is why I got ‘briefed’ by both him and his mate. I gathered they like the company and drink the beer .
I took some notes inside as well.. apart from naming various companies which all seem to be listed on the website what I gained is they think the current bull market is coming to an end , the quality and quantity of new IPOs has diminished. They look for downbeaten dominant industry players in a chosen field with a potential catalyst for further growth. And Geoff Wilson is extremely upset about Labour proposed superannuation changes and speaks fluently and frequently about this as often as possible. (I think he should go into politics).
