Bevter, I'm not irrational. I want to get as much stock as I can, but I don't want to pay any more than I need to. The SP is still being supported by me, and I will continue to do so for as long as the underlying situation remains unchanged, but I can't babysit this stock, and I'm not going to illegally manipulate the SP.

HAW isn't even in my top ten holdings, and I do have other responsibilities aside from my ASX portfolio, so if someone wants to dump at market then the SP will fall, but with these illiquid stocks people generally leave 'at limit' orders, and when they do so at a PRICE THAT I LIKE and am ABLE TO BUY AT, then I WILL BUY.

However, in addition to the other demands on my time, Etrade is making it VERY difficult for me to move up the market depth. They are now telling me that I need to walk my orders up the market in increments of 0.1cps, and I need to wait ONE HOUR between increments.

That means that for me to buy shares at 4.2cps right now, I would THEORETICALLY need 12 hours (i.e. two full trading days). Practically, I just don't have the time to dick around doing this.

If you're sick of waiting, then SELL.

Time will tell just how brainless I am.
