I must be missing some information. I had been thinking that the first mention of the loan was in the 2017 annual accounts. If so then I can't see that it is a loan that "shareholders already have known about for years."

I am happy to be put right on the missing information?

It's is a bit rough to say that ASX was asleep at the wheel. I suspect nobody queried the loan with ASX until this year. The ASX can't monitor every minnow.
