Yes, the buying was obviously after the announcement Icarus.
What I mean though, if you follow this stock carefully over a long period, is that the announcement was of itself, still quite nebulous (as usual).
There was no mention of what partnerships, or how big they might be, or whether they are in Oz, USA, or UK.
There was no revenue mentioned. Some rough EBITDA percentages were thrown around. As for being cash flow positive from March, well they were cash flow positive for 3 or 4 months last year and made about $50 a month or some small amount in profits, which meant nothing. Was there any buying then - no! Just massive selling.
This 100%+ stock price movement today, and the huge volumes, which are unheard of in PPL, can only mean that someone, or some funds, or insiders, (probably) actually already know who the partnerships are with before the market finds out, and how much they might be worth. We as retail investors will probably not find out this information for a month or two.
If you follow this stock for years, then you will probably realise like me, that this is the only reasonable explanation I can find for the events of today. Will we see some 3B announcements? Will the culprits put up their hands?
Someone knows what Nic has been up to. Anyway regardless, his appointment was a good move.
