there are four pits. Manuka and Boundary have high grade central zones with the medium and low grade halo. High grade is anything over 100gpt, medium is 40 to 100
the ore body is horizontal, like a blanket. The high grade is from 20m to 40m depth
. The high grade section in manuka is 600m long 80 m wide and say 8 to 10m thick which gives around 800,000 to 1 million tonnes of high grade in this pit ( could be more I do not know the SG) . it has been drilled 20 x 20
the Boundary high grade was not as consistent as Manuka from drilling a few years ago. In addition they did not drill 20 x 20. It was drilled to indicated .
There is an astonishing amount of misinformation propagated on this forum and a lot of angry people.
Knowledge is power in the markets, without it your doomed esp trading juniors. i don't mean inside knowledge, but a thorough understanding of the JORC code and mine engineering at the minimum.
The simple fact is that mining is an incredibly risky business. I met a guy who had put all his super into one gold miner, about $1million. It was a quality OZ low cost gold mine, but single mine underground so very risky. He went to an AGM and spoke to the CEO . The CEO said to him, "underground gold mining is the riskiest business there is".
He started selling the next day, switched to silver and gold bullion and now sleeps at night. As it turns out if he hadnt sold he would have done $500k. he will more than likley turn $1m to $3m without the risk of owing equities, knowing when he bought the bullion
Sure you can get rich on gold and silver juniors., but the only way is to get them very very cheap. I first bought this stock when its market cap was $5million and I was the only trade for days
And then you have to know when to sell into the parabola (a french curve is one tool)which means overcoming greed and the madness of crowds.
So if you dont really know what you are doing its unlikely you will get rich, you will probably lose
Its a good time to accumulate quality gold juniors, but even at these prices I would not buy CCU, I still have 75% of my position having sold 25% last April. I have been buying SVL however having sold the lot last April. Its cheap as chips
It will take a while for the damage to be repaired here. 6 months minimum.
stop blaming and learn from your mistakes. That is what the pro does
