Danhoff, can't help but agree with your sentiments.
The thing is they have been in production rampup now for about 4 months. The first 5 years are meant to have grades of 97g/t. They should have known for months they weren't getting those grades. Why oh why would you promise the market just last week full target production of 2.5 million oz would be acheived next month? November is going to be 1/3 of that rate, the worst yet!
Even if the stockpile was 60g/t instead of 45g/t YOU STILL CAN'T ANNUALISE 2.5million oz worth of production!
Unfortunately the market has been grossly misinformed on the actual state of things. This is either negligence of due care or sheer incompetence, probably both.
In any event it's a body blow that will take months to recover from. I notice the shareprice bounce is anemic, lots of lost faith in this one. It's really hard to believe the 'trust us' assurences given in light of the recent dramatic divergence between forecasts and reality.
