BURKE, Va. - A special dog used to help people is getting some much needed help of her own.

Her name is Red, and she is one of the last surviving search and rescue dogs deployed in the 9/11 attacks.

The 12-year-old black lab underwent stem cell regenerative therapy Monday to help ease her crippling arthritis so she can get back out on the job and do what she does best - helping people in their time of need.
