fwiw... I think SGM is unfairly suffering from Trump's tariff/trade war... in the long run I can see SGM recovering but until the dispute with China is over SGM will continue to be pressured down imo. My reason for thinking so is SGM is a high volume/low margin business... small disruptions to normal day to day business create out-sized moves. This move down in the SP is well correlated to the disruption to SGM's scrap metal sales ex-USA to China.
