It might.
Not sure whether they think they need to - they need a customer base but probably can get it organically rather than by acquisition.
I recall Simon Hackett (Internode) predicted some consolidation, probably between Vodafone and TPG.
Now that TPG has the spectrum in Singapore, Vodafone globally probably would see them as a good acquisition - maybe $9 or so per share (random stab in the dark).
Either way, definitely worth holding on to TPG and HTA at the moment. There is only upside to both stocks I think.
HTA could become quite a precious stock as only about 2 or 3% of he company sits on the ASX market (correct me if I am wrong here...)
