Very true a stock is a stock. But it's an issue whether it's relevant or not doesn't matter, it is still an issue.

Now that I am aware of it, I am more guarded about it.

It's not to say that i wouldn't invest in it, but the period of investment would be much shorter. Hence selling the remainer out of my super fund.

In past have sold other stocks when the locals are anti development.

As you say "I sell for gain or stop lost", well i have sold for a good gain.
