It may be prudent to determine if the PHES can co-exist with mining under or accessed from the large pit which is the nucleus of the PHES in that it will contain the water to be pumped. It would appear a tricky engineering issue to establish underground mining via the large pit if it contained water. I would like to see the definitive plan to accommodate the PHES and underground mining as I fear it may be one or the other.
