Not necessarily misleading but there is a lot in the fine print and a lot hidden in the company structure. There is a lot more to it than "share wise". There are different risks with the different companies.

A few years ago the same discussion was being carried out on hot copper about two companies, Centro Properties and Centro Retail. I was using the same argument and being shot down by the believers in CNP who kept on about CNP being the major owner of CER. CER was trading and making the money. CNP was using CER as a cash cow. Eventually CNP went out worthless and CER made a 10 bagger for those that held.

The moral of the story is " invest in the one that is making the money". (or has the potential to be that one).In this case it is EDE.
