    Local authorities support the plan to build a coal mine Jan Karski in the Lublin Coal Basin, which wants to build an Australian company Prairie Mining - reported portal mining nettg.pl the press service of the company.

    The project to build the mine also enjoys support from Paul Wojciechowski, Ambassador of Australia in Poland. - One of our common objectives is to support the economic growth of both countries through investment and promote employment in the mining industry. Prairie is an excellent example of successful international cooperation and an opportunity to share knowledge and skills in the field of mining between our countries - said the ambassador. The investment Prairie is part of a government program Coal 2.0 designed to support coal mining in the Lublin Coal Basin.

    The government plan for Sustainable Development provides support for investments, strengthening key sectors in the Lublin region, export-oriented. One of the essential elements of the plan is to promote modern technologies in the Polish mining industry. - We see that the Polish government supports investment to strengthen the independence of the resource of the country and contribute to its energy security. Each new investment, which leads to the transfer of technology and the use of innovative, world-class solution mining is a very important contribution to the long-term economic development - said Ben Stoikovich, president of Prairie Mining Limited. Currently, intensive preparatory work to apply for a production license.

    In addition to the selection area as a location for the village Kulik ground infrastructure of the future mine, Prairie completed work on the draft development of the deposit, which will be filed in the District Mining Office in Lublin.

    The company has already filed applications for a change in the zoning plan and is working on obtaining connection conditions of the power line.
