I have struggled with this over the past few months.
GPG have actually averaged into AEJ at exactly 7.98 cents.
The question is probably not whether it will get to a vote at 10cents.
I suspect that GPG has asked to see the offer prior to it being finalised to understand if there is more in i for the shareholders. At that point I believe they may ask for more and the arm wrestle begins. We will not however see this and only be privy to the outcome, ie if the 10cents goes to the vote or something different.
I am also a bit of a skeptic. GPG does a lot of business with these types of debt holders so they may have agreed to the 10 cents in a effort to get a deal supported by the debt holders elsewhere. (may be too much of a conspiracy theory)
