haha. Thanks for comments. I like WOR, but any stock that runs that hard without a consolidation period has to give back some. If you don't understand that then you have some learning to do. Selling has nothing to do with 'fair value'. Sentiment determines stock prices, not fair or fundamental value. Read a book on investing. The rally has been on greed as a base seemed to have been formed in the oversold commodity space. Many stocks appear to be factoring in higher oil prices for example. I personally believe we will see further falls, so will lighten the load and hold some for upside exposure, while taking some profits and building cash for the next opportunity.

Your initial post sounded like a juvenile who purchased a stock and crossed his fingers, then had a little tanty when it didn't continue to rise.

Yes, most commodity related stocks got severely hammered over last 12 months. I looked at S32 at A$2.20, and kept it on my radar. When it hit A$0.90, and seemed to form a solid base I jumped in. Bought at A$0.91 and sold yesterday at A$1.51. Does selling it mean I don't like it anymore? No, but I am taking profits as I believe the best returns have been had (is called risk/reward) and I will deploy cash to next trade once I feel it makes sense.

I sold some WOR yesterday@ 6.00, and will sell more when I feel it is time. When I buy or sell I look at recent activity, not just my expected target price. If a stock has run hard, then I will usually wait for a pullback. If a stock consolidates, then moves higher I will like it. If a stock jumps and keeps jumping, without forming solid levels I will stay away.

I live in Hong Kong and earn HK$. When I sold WOR, S32 & STO yesterday,. I also sold the A$ and converted to HK$. Does that mean I hate the A$? No, but it means I feel that it has run hard and as this commodity rally fades, the A$ will come off as well.
