I think the chances of funding the Hill 50 purchase are now very very slim. The falling price means more shares will be issued and the convertible note will chase the share price down, further diluting shareholders. Without even talking about raising any required cash for purchase and the other operations exploration and working capital.
This one will not do 500,000 oz as it probably won't own Hill 50 IMO.
Probability for this one doing what has been spruiked has just turned to "zip" - its been caught exposed by the capital markets and a cash burn which is too high. Who would finance it now??
Shame, the Aussie gold industry could have done with a success other than AVO for 2007.
