Base metal prices had not been too hot in the last few days, courtesy of the housing and unemployment report in the US recently.We do not sell base metals to the States, even if so, would be negligible. Our economy is more linked to Asia, our resource economy is going boom buster yet our stock market is tracking Dow Jones. It will come a time we will have to detach from the States as far as the stock market is concern. Singapore, Malaysia and all the ASEAN countries including China and India are booming and our main trade are with them. The stock market in all these countries except China outperform us currently.We are talking about a crash here when most of the companies have very strong balance sheets. Our companies haven't even gone anywhere yet.Are we giving away again our companies as our prices are so low and so tempting for acquisitions.
