All of that is speculation, perhaps smart but still speculation.
The only way to know why the buyers and sellers traded would be to ask them. The trend will go one way until something unexpected happens, so you may as well toss a coin.
If it goes to 50c or 10c it doesn't mean jack, if I don't need to sell and the company is ok I haven't lost money and just have to wait it out.
Yeah it's all a rort, but if you can't beat them join them. My buy in price is well below crescent, they generously paid me $3.45 for half my shares.
