Yes, STO's LNG production is into oil-linked contracts it's shareprice is a direct reflection of an expectation of $60 U.S. Brent Crude as referred to in the notes to accounts.
$90m U.S. may not seem much but it's $2500 of my money they could have given to me as a dividend instead if they weren't such a pack of mindless corporate drones.
STO will not always be oil linked, the Asian LNG market has changed. Renewables need gas, you can't run a grid on zephyrs and sunlight without partially loaded spinning reserve.
Value_Hunter I am no huge fan of CSG but my view is that increased drilling will result in supplier cost inflation as well as the proven reserves the company needs. I am always interested in opposing views, can you quantify your statement?
