Note that you can signup (and earn free data) without being an active subscriber..
Albeit without paying the money you can't use the data. (so much of this free data may never be used)
So I would like to see FRX publish statistics on actual Active (ie. Paying) members.
As noted above, the Revenue line in their last Q didn't change much (but that could have been an offset by lower voice revenue)
Would not surprise me if the conversion between those who have downloaded the app (and potentially earned free data) to actual Active/Paid members is in the sub-25% range -- hence the problem with looking at the Google Play, iPhone store download numbers.
Agree some inflight deals would be useful... but might start getting confusing using MB as the charging method.. (eg. 10MB air data for 50MB), and I suspect the providers of such systems like their monopoly charging powers.
