That explains Siva Sivaram-s talk @ IMEC:

joint development agreement with Western Digital subsidiary HGST, a global storage leader, which accelerates the evolution of 4DS’ technology. 4DS also collaborates with imec, the world’s #1 independent semiconductor development institute. In my opinion this shows the absolute determination of ALL 4 involved in this project to put in on market as soon they can and as perfect as it can be. Price? Kopaz see above link. WD is investing heavily into emerging tech, they are working with multiple companies including other Reram developers.
i cant find the link right now but i believe the rambus licensing agreement was circa 300-400million USD (i might be getting this number mixed up with something else i read though)
