Even the skeptic in me says that won't happen. No chance they'd dump this at these prices if in fact it works to expectations.
Keep in mind JD is a smart investor and isn't putting this much effort into building this company for this many years just to give it away.
I'm thinking perhaps 1.15 to 2 billion will be a reasonable expectation for this level of technology. It could be even more if there's nothing else on the horizon to compete. I wouldn't fall over in disbelief if it sold for $6B if it's "all that and a bag of chips" like they're saying it is AND it's ready to market before anyone else announces their new and similar technology development.

As for it being an Aussie company is going to have no bearing on the price. No one will care where it came from as JD is a yank. He won't donate to the industry when he doesn't have to. I've no doubt he'll demand absolute top dollar and has no emotional connection. He's not going to hope it goes to a good home and prospers. He's building a money making machine pure and simple.

My only concern with anything to do with this investment is in the final product.
1. Can they make it.
2. Can they make it quickly.
3. Does it live up to the market's expectations.

IF they can pull this off, it's at the very least $1/share and probably more.
IF they can pull this off before some other mob quick draws similar technology into the market horizon, it's probably worth a LOT more.

My concern is can they build this with millions of rewrite cycles and DRAM speeds and decent latency rates on a megabit chip that can quickly and efficiently be interfaced and market ready before someone else announces. If this technology lives up to its marketing hype, it will be worth an amazing amount of money.

Industry will gladly wait to wage a bid war if someone else crashes in with something similar.

I will confess that my wife has the 4DS disease and is pushing me to buy up to 2 million shares. :/
