    I'd be loath to spend. $100mil on an investment where the tech is 50/50 chance of making it, as it would be mean there is a. 50/50 chance on an $100mil impairment expense in the near future. impairment is not a word you want in your financials.

    much easier to spend $300mil on tech that is certain, particularly if your MC is. $15bil.

    no idea what (if) it will sell for, thought happy to be LT here and see where the chips fall at the end.
