This might be silly but do we think HGST would sign a JDA with shared IP they have been developing for 5 years and yet would allow another company to buy it for a pittance? If the offer was 30 cents, im sure HGST would receive compensation first leaving little for investors. Surely the JDA would make such a buyout more difficult to get investors to vote yes.
Also, they can cram 30 cents with walnuts......it's time for a real payday.
