although this table omits upthere and tegile - both 2017 I seem to recall- it demonstrates the appetite for acquisitions...
maybe there wasn't anything in 2018. saving their pennies for the right pick?
most big tech companies like wd are sustained by acquisitions... this is a decades old pattern that is probably only going to become more frequent and vital to behemoth's sustainability like wd
