I actually find FA research took me far longer, and I just wasn't great at finding it. I can read charts though. I run some scans each night, then I can set conditional orders to buy at x price on a breakout. Then I can set a stop loss and/or a trailing stop, let the profits ride. Takes about half an hour each day. I spend very little time watching the market live. Like I said whatever works for you. If you're making money who cares.
