I have noticed on this chart thread that there have been comparisons made of the current 4DS share price to what the chart shows the SP was trading at back in 2011, i.e. around the 65c level. I am a little bit concerned that readers new to 4DS are not aware of its listing history, so I thought I would clarify things a bit.
4DS was an unlisted public company in Australia from 2012 to the end of December 2015. Prior to that it was a private company operating in Silicon Valley. 4DS listed in Australia effective on the 14th December 2015. This listing involved the takeover of Fitzroy Resources Limited (ASX.FRY) which was a listed company engaged in the identification and acquisition of base metal exploration interests in Australia, i.e. 4DS was a “backdoor” listing.
So when making comparisons to the SP’s historical trading levels we all should focus purely on those levels from December 2015. On relisting the SP settled at 3c, and from that date to November 2017 the SP has traded between 1.8c and 4.1c. That 4.1c level has proven to be a strong support level in the recent plunge from 13c.
